INAUGURATION OF THE MURAL TRIBUTE TO DONORS OF BODY FOR SCIENCE UMH AT THE CAMPUS OF SAN JUAN SPAIN

The past October 30, in the 2nd floor of the building Severo Ochoa of the campus of Sant Joan d’Alacant (Spain), took place the inauguration of a mural in tribute to those who donate their body to science. The ceremony was attended, among others, of thedean of the University Miguel Hernández (UMH) of Elche (Spain), Jesús Pastor Ciurana, as well as the vicedean of Institutional Relations of the University Miguel Hernández (UMH) of Elche, María Teresa Pérez Vázquez, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Antonio Compañ Rosique and faculty research.

The idea was born from the Vice President for Institutional Relations of the UMH, with the support of the Faculty of Fine Arts located in Altea (Spain).

Authors of the mural tribute to body donors for Science UMH

The graphic painting has been prepared by Javier González, Andrea Mendoza and Daniel Alemany, students of the UMH. The mural painting has a length of a 1.22 x 16 meters long and is composed of 12 pieces painted in oil on a table stand.

The coordination of the project has been in charge of Patricia Escario, professor of the painting Area of the Faculty of Fine Arts of UMH, next to Francisco Sánchez del Campo, professor of the Area of Anatomy and Human Embryology of UMH. In addition, in the mural have collaborated several students, teachers and technicians of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Altea (UMH).
