The past May, 8 and 11 the PechaKucha UMH Seminar by the students of 3rd Degree of Medicine was held. The students of the University Miguel Hernández made medical presentations using the popular method in the Severo Ochoa building.
What is the method of the PechaKucha UMH Seminar of Medicine students about?
The PechaKucha method are presentations of 20 images for 20 seconds each. The idea is to carry out dynamic seminars, agile and occasionally improvised. Each presentation is composed of 20 slides in 20-second expositions. What is known a s20×20. The goal is to communicate ideas creatively to the audience, challenging and always under the guidance of the timescale and the automatic change of images.

Who is the professor responsible of organising the PechaKucha UMH Seminar of students of Medicine?
The professor and researcher José Manuel Ramos Rincón is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Microbiology, head of Service of Internal Medicine of the General University Hospital of Alicante (HGUA); In addition to teaches at the Faculty of Medicine of the UMH. His research interests focus on:
- research in infectious diseases,
- international health
- and internal medicine.
In addition, Jose Manuel Ramos is coordinator of cooperation and volunteer projects of the Rural General Hospital of Gambo (Ethiopia) for many years. Today he continues with the task.
