THE CYCLE OF CINEMA AND HEALTH SERIES UMH DEBATE ABOUT HOW SOCIETY REACTS TO THE DEATH IN SOME SITUATIONS
Both the Delegation of Students from the University Miguel Hernández of Elche, UMH as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine have organized an interesting session of the VIII Edition of the Cycle of Cinema and Health Series focused on how society reacts to the death. The event will be based on this emotive situation, staff and diversity reactions aroused by the society before the imminent arrival of the end of life. To do so, Japanese film has been scheduled “Okuribito”.
What will the Cycle of Cinema and Health Series UMH consist of?
The screening of the film Okuribito will be the Thursday, April 14 at 5:30 pm. in the Salón de Actos of Severo Ochoa building of the campus of Sant Joan d’Alacant (Spain) of the UMH. Free admission until the capacity of the room was complete.
Sessions will be moderate and directed by Ana Martínez, expert in Oriental Cultures of the University of Alicante (Spain).
Who organizes the Cycle of Cinema and Health Series UMH?
The 8th Cycle of Cinema and Health Series UMH is coordinated and organized through the collaboration of the Vice-Rectorate of Culture and University Extension, Miguel Hernández University and it will be in effect until may 2016.
In addition, attendance at the sessions of the 8th Cycle of Cinema and Health Series UMH will allow students the recognition of 0’6 credits ECTS for Degrees and of 1’5 free-elective credits for the Bachelor’s degree.
